I began tutoring when I was in Junior college and I continued this process until I graduated from California State University Los Angeles. The main subjects in which I tutored students were algebra, trigonometry and chemistry, and my students included middle school, high school students and college students.
It was during my tutoring students of diverse backgrounds that I discovered that I was born to impart to all people who could use my knowledge in science or mathematics. I have been a chemistry instructor for the past five years, working with students of diverse backgrounds, in high school and college.
I graduated from California State University Los Angeles (CAL STATE LA) with Master’s Degree in Chemistry, and worked as a faculty member during my graduate school. In addition I completed most of the courses leading to a California Teaching Credential (See the subject matter verification document attached). After graduation, I taught Life Science at a middle school in Compton, California, After Compton I taught at a charter school in Sherman Oaks, California. My students at the charter school taught 9TH- Grade Biology, 10TH-Grade Chemistry, and 11TH-Grade and 12TH – Grade Physics l from 09/05/2007 to 06/30/2009.
I passed his California Basic Examinations Skills Test (CBEST-See attached document) in April of 2005 and then completed the CSET (California Subject Examinations for Teachers) and passed in July 2008 (08/19/2008).
I taught basic chemistry laboratory at Los Angeles College from June 2007 to December 2008
In Early 2009, I taught Chemistry-102 at CALSTATE LA to students in their seniour levels. CALSTATE LA is the univeristy where I received my Masters degree in Chemistry.
I am highly recommended by various college and secondary school administrators for teaching at high school and college levels with the Los Angeles Unified School District Intern program.
