Hi!
I'm an experienced tutor with a sense of humor!
I have a Master's degree in English obtained at the University Paul Valry in the South of France. I also studied Spanish and French at University level. I'm very good with words and languages, but also with math since I was a math/science major in high school and got the French scientific 'baccalaureat' (SAT equivalent) with special honors.
I have about 10 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I taught French as a foreign language at the University of Manchester, England for one year. I also tutored French privately in London for a few years. I then moved to Paris and tutored English as a foreign language there for 4 years.
This last four years in Los Angeles, I have been tutoring French, English and Spanish to both children and adults.
I love people and I find tutoring very stimulating and enriching. I also like the flexibility of the job which allows me to combine acting and producing activities.
As for my tutoring/teaching method, it varies depending on the student. I need to know what my student's personality is like before establishing a plan of action! Not everybody is interested in the same thing or learns the same way. So I adapt my teaching according to each person so that the learning process is both efficient and fun!
