I am a dedicated undergraduate student majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Cal State Long Beach. Among the things I am passionate about in life, I love math and science and applying what I have learned from these subjects in both practical and productive ways. I believe that truly understanding something goes beyond the subject itself. Finding ways to apply the fundamentals to the real world is the key to understanding something on a personal and practical level. Remember that every student is unique, I work one on one with students and develop personal lessons that compliment the subject matter being taught at school. I apply a variety of teaching methods and strive to communicate the subject in ways that individually benefit them.
I have experience tutoring SAT Math for high school students and was a voluntary teachers aid for AP Computer Science in high school. I specialize in computer programming including Java, C++, C, and Verilog languages but I am qualified to teach math, science, and other fundamental subjects as well. My qualifications in math cover anything from basic elementary math, up through intermediate algebra, trigonometry, and Calculus. My qualifications in science solely cover Physics including Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and specifically, Electricity, Magnetism, Circuits, and Electronics.
I tutor students on a scheduled regular basis but I am also open for one-time sessions as well. I take pride in the quality of my work and I aim to achieve noticeable results. Everything is for the students benefit so if you are unhappy with the results or dislike my teaching methods, there is no commitment so you can stop the sessions at any time. If you're interested or have any questions feel free to contact me through my page.
