I have a PhD in chemistry. I am experienced in teaching students of all age groups both in my home country, India, and in the US. In addition to teaching experience in schools and colleges, I have a researcher experience from pharmaceutical industry and from University of Southern California. Besides I am highly interested in teaching as I love the feeling of satisfaction of being helpful to my students improve their grades through a deeper understanding of the subject.
As a teacher myself, I understand that school teachers are under pressure to finish the syllabus in a given academic year and students are left with certain things unclear in the mind. This is where a tutor can help by being patient explain the topic to a student thoroughly and giving interesting examples from daily life. Doing so, helps student to develop liking for the subject and understand the importance. And what you know the student then starts improving from within.
I have come to believe, from official reviews and comments from my students, that I have the capability to be that tutor. The key things during my tutoring sessions are patience, interest in subject and willingness to explaining the concepts with exercise until the student grasps it.
