Hi! I'm Kim, and I would be an awesome tutor for your young student!
I recently graduated from CSULB with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on language and literacy. As a requirement for graduation, I spent 120 hours working with teachers in elementary schools, similar to a teacher's aide.
While completing my degree, I worked as a nanny for a family with triplets, starting at 7 months of age until the age of three, when they began preschool.
I worked as a after-school childcare counselor at a private elementary school in Long Beach for three years, and summer camp counselor for the same program.
Most importantly, I tutored through the previously mentioned private school, working with the students on their daily homework assignments, preparing for upcoming exams, and providing supplemental activities focused on their more difficult subjects.
I am friendly, patient, and devoted to the education of children. I am able to interact quite well with students, and adapt my tutoring technique to best reach the student.
