I graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a 3.98 GPA, a B.S. in Computer Science, and a minor in Math. I started tutoring when I was in 8th grade, and I thought it would be a temporary job. However, even after graduating college at the top of my class, I've kept on tutoring because I love helping students one-on-one.
About 70% of what I have tutored is math, from basic elementary-school math, to pre-algebra, algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus (and some statistics, probability, and calculus).
Also, for several years, I have tutored the entire HSPT (the typical entrance exam for students who want to attend private high schools) and the math portions of the SAT and ACT college entrance exams.
Besides math, I have spent time helping students with other subjects, such as science (including science projects), grammar, general writing and essay writing, spelling, and phonics (including helping a student learn how to read using "Hooked on Phonics").
I look forward to helping you or someone you know that needs help.
