Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by to check out my profile. My name is Patrick O, and I am a senior undergrad student at California State University, Long Beach. Right now I am one semester away from graduating with a B.A. in American Studies. I plan on continuing my education at CSULB as I will be pursuing a single subject teaching credential to teach US History at the high school level. Since 8th grade, I have taken a great interest in United States History having performed very well in relevant courses in high school and college. As an American Studies student, I have the opportunity to look at various elements of the American lifestyle (history, music, art, literature, and politics) and how they have helped to shape what it means to be American.

Having completed a majority of my college education, I have developed proficient writing and research skills, which I can use to assist students who are struggling with writing historical research papers. Having passed my US History, World History, and Government classes with a B or Higher, I am able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in those given subject areas. To assist students, I am willing to use some of the resources I have gathered throughout my college tenure including class notes, PowerPoint presentations, and textbooks.
