I have a B.S. in chemistry from UC Irvine, after which I worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years. I then decided that teaching would be a more fulfilling career, so I went back to school for an M.S. in physics. I just finished my degree, and I was also a TA for lab classes during my time as a graduate student.
I got very good evaluations from my students, and I put in extra time to help them with their regular course assignments (even though that wasn't required). I also got the outstanding TA award from the AAPT (American Association of Physics Teachers).
I am proficient in math up to calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra, and in physics up to graduate level. Since my B.S. is in chemistry, I can also tutor chemistry.
