I have taught/tutored for 3 years. I was both a student and graduate assistant at CSULB where I attained a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Statistics.
I have experience tutoring in all mathematics subjects up to and including graduate-level material.
I try to adjust my teaching style so that my presentation will be as clear and as easily understood as possible by tailoring my delivery to the student's most natural and preferred learning mode, which is technically called a "modality" in many education circles (it consists of visual, auditory, or kinesthetic approaches).
My most salient skill, however, is presenting the theory and logic used for many proofs and equations in a simpler and easier to visualize alternative format that students can more easily understand.
