A few years ago I taught my niece at home for part of 7th and all of 8th grade. I studied history and creative writing in college, so for the middle to high school grades, those are my areas of expertise, especially English. I love grammar and writing. I also enjoyed doing pre-algebra with my niece.
Last year I taught a 1st and 2nd grade combo class in a private school, so I have experience in elementary education. I can teach phonics, handwriting, reading, writing, math, etc. I also taught elementary Spanish last year for K-2nd and 3rd-6th grades. Although I am not fluent, I do have a basic understanding of the language having taken Spanish through elementary school, high school, and college, along with traveling two months in Argentina.
