I am currently in my sixth year of being a full time elementary school teacher in the Antelope Valley. Between 2005 and 2009, I simultaneously earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential through the Cal State University, Northridge, Integrated Teaching Education Program. I have volunteered in numerous elementary schools throughout college and worked as a T.A. in an elementary school for two years. I have four years of experience tutoring students in the community. I specialize in grades K-3, but am willing and able to work with students of all ages. I taught 2nd grade for 4 years and am currently teaching 3rd grade for the second year for the Lancaster School District. I am also a graduate student working on my Masters of Science in Education with a Concentration in Reading in order to become a Reading Specialist/Coach.

I am currently a full-time second grade teacher at a charter school in Palmdale, CA. Throughout college I volunteered and observed in numerous elementary schools in the Southern California area. I also worked as a T.A. in an elementary school for two years, where I had the opportunity to work one-on-one with students of all intellectual levels. I received high scores on the CBEST,CSET, and RICA. I look forward to changing the life of your child for the better!
