I have been teaching for over four years and my experiences in one-on-one tutoring sessions have been some of the most rewarding. It is exciting for me to help students make connections that engage them in the material that they need to master, whether that material includes a historical narrative, a literary text, or the unique language skills that allow students to excel on the reading and writing portions of the SAT and GRE. I see students many times or only once but always I meet them at their level and make a significant contribution to their study skills and knowledge base. Whether my student is you, your child, or your friend, I provide the educational resources of a decade of post-graduate study at one of the finest institutions in the country. I am also an experienced editor. I have helped many students proofread and improve their essays, papers, articles, and other pieces of writing. We can meet in person to discuss your project, I can provide proofreading and commentary remotely, or we can do both. I can usually return a piece of writing under 20 pages to you within a day so you can meet a deadline. I will drive up to twenty miles to meet with you but I can edit your work remotely from any location.
