I am a multiple-subject credentialed teacher to teach grades K-8. I went to CSULB as an undergrad and recieved a BA in Liberal Studies, Track One (for teaching, with a concentration in Visual & Performing Arts). I graduated Cum Laude. I then went on to get my teaching credential at CSULB and finished the teaching program with a 4.0 GPA. I enjoy teaching and working with children of all ages and love watching the progress they make. I tutor all subjects and can also help with homework, test prep, study skills or anything else your student may need. I use many different methods and cater to the students prefered learning style that he/she excels; in a positive motivating environment.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have taken and passed all tests to become an elementary school teacher in the state of CA (CBEST, CSET, RICA) and can present copies of all of these tests if needed. I also completed the credential program at Cal State University, Long Beach with a 4.0 GPA. I have been substitute teaching in a school district for almost 7 years, and I have a VALID SB2042 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

CBEST

I passed the CBEST test. I had a total passing score of 154. I had 4 ++++'s in 4 of the sections, which is the highest score you can recieve & 3's in the other 2 sections. I have also tutored my college aged peers to help them pass the CBEST as well as the CSET (which is MUCH harder to pass than the CBEST!!) I am very good at explaining and reviewing the type of questions and information that will be on these tests and familiarizing them with the format of these tests.
