My love of learning set me on the path of nursing very early in my life. I spent many years in school myself and I appreciate the value of hard work. Graduating cum laude I am well aware of what it takes to become an informed, caring, professional nurse. I spent many years in all aspects of hospital nursing, home health nursing, medical-legal nursing, and long-term care as an independent contractor. Over the years, I earned multiple certifications including CCRN, CRNI, Lamaze Instructor. Along the way, my goal has always been to teach student nurses, caregivers, patients, and their families the specifics of their individual courses, disease processes, and provide individualized concerns.

I have been told by multiple student nurses I am the best tutor they have ever had. I taught several anatomy & physiology, medical terminology, geriatrics, environmental science and other minor courses for Medical Assistant programs between 1997 and 2000 at Humphreys College (a 4-year degree, private college in Stockton, CA). At the same time, I have enjoyed working with students with individual needs in the sciences, basic math, and providing proofreading for essays, reports, or theses. I can pick out errors and omissions your computer “tools” might miss (no bragging, just fact).

I believe you are working hard to earn your nursing degree (or to complete any other course or program). I am here to help you do that. Your classes are already challenging. Let me help you through these classes with the least amount of stress possible.

I hold myself to a very high standard as a multiple degreed, licensed RN. I expect my students to direct their focus on completing each class on time with minimal cancellations. I will allow a 24 hour cancellation policy. I will allow for makeup classes on an individual basis. We can meet at your school, library, or community center close to your school.

I look forward to hearing from you. I will work with you to achieve a successful outcome in nursing (or any other program). I am also available to assist you in your clinical areas.

If you have children who need help with science, math, or English please contact me. We can work together to make sure your child has a great educational experience!

As a Registered Nurse, my fingerprints are on file with the state of California and the Department of Justice. I have had multiple background checks done by previous employers. I have no criminal background. Anyone can check with the State of California. My RN license is valid and my background check is repeated every year.

I am an RN with a master’s degree in nursing. I have spent the past 15-16 years documenting medical codes/coding for long-term care insurance companies. I have a current student who is working on a degree program in medical coding/billing.

I have been sewing since I was 12 years old. I took several Home Ec classes throughout my elementary and junior high school years. I have owned several types of sewing machines. I have created many clothing items, and various projects for babies and children in the past 30 years. I would like to try to help you with your projects.

Awesome nurse with invaluable experience — As a nursing student I'm constantly thrown into what feels like the lion's den. When I met Paula, she was able to share her years of experience and truly help me to ease some of the anxiety and fears that I had, especially with nursing exams! She is an incredible instructor, able to use her time with you efficiently, and was able to discuss techniques and methods on how I could improve my critical ...
