Thank you for taking a look at my profile! My name is Whitney and I am primarily a math tutor although I also tutor the drums. I have a great passion for math and feel that I am a natural born teacher; my patience, good communication and aptitude for math have brought me success as a freelance math tutor. Through my three years of tutoring experience, I’ve established a natural 7-step process that allows me to accurately pinpoint where students struggle and exactly what they need to be successful. This process also builds a firm foundation that increases recall, eases testing panic and supports future learning (7-step process can be provided upon request!).
A little bit about me: I am a 22-year-old mathematics major, still in college, with a 3.8 GPA. I have been tutoring math for over three years and during this time I have tutored students ages ten to sixty in all levels and topics of math. I have also had the experience of tutoring 'less than enthused' children as well as the experience of being a nanny for over a year, so I am very good with children. I tutor all levels of math, up to, but not including, calculus. I am a female math tutor for female students of ALL ages and ALL math levels. I am kind, friendly, and looking to work with you!
