Algebra 1

Algebra I - my experience varies from ambitious 6th graders to adults needing refresher for other courses. I also enjoy helping students who "hate math" to make it fun and learn to love it!

Algebra 2

Algebra II - There are lots of processes and formulas and I help my students break these down and find ways to make it easier and memorable.

Geometry

Geometry is a tricky math subject. Many students who "get math" have trouble with the newer concepts learned in Geometry, reasoning, proofs, formulas, etc. I help my students understand the "why" behind these concepts.

Prealgebra

Prealgebra is usually the beginning of where parents stop being able to help their students with "math" -- even if you did well in school, you have probably forgotten the harder concepts. If you don't have the time to re-learn them all, give me a call!

Precalculus

Precalculus (also known as Math Analysis) is the bridge between Algebra II and Calculus. A strong understanding of Algebra II is required to do well in this class, so an individual tutoring plan is very useful to ensure success!

Trigonometry

I love Trig!!! I know that makes me sound crazy, but I think I can help you love it too, because when you understand it better, Trigonometry becomes just a puzzle to solve where all the pieces fit right together.

Statistics

Statistics is not your everyday math class. There are formulas and concepts that are different from what you have previously learned, but are foundational for many sciences and social sciences. It's not easy, but I help my students rise to the challenge!

SAT Math

SAT Math is not difficult math - but it is important! Working individually with a student I am able to determine what techniques and concepts they need to understand better and put my students on a fast-track to testing success.

Calculus

I love to help students understand Calculus better. I won't give you all the answers, but I will help you find them. Discovery is the most important part of the learning process!
