During the school year, I am a Resource Specialist for Fountain Valley School District. I work with kindergarten through Fifth grade students who have ADD, ADHD, High Functioning Autism, and Learning Disabilities. I thoroughly enjoy working with small groups of students or on a one to one basis. It is a joy to see the progress my students make when given the extra attention. I have extensive experience teaching students how to read using a variety of researched based programs. In addition, I just completed the requirements for the Autism Certificate recently required by the state of California. In addition to working with students on the autism spectrum I specialize in assisting students in organization and study skills.
