As a State of Indiana credentialed educator (General Elementary Education Grades 1-6, 7/8 Non Departmental Learning Disabled and Mildly Mentally Handicapped, Grades K-12), I have thirteen years of experience as an elementary school teacher which included direct instruction in Phonics/decoding skills for 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders.

I also have over 6 years experience as a Reading-decoding skills teacher/tutor for older, reluctant readers as a staff member for the Monterey County Office of Education working with Court/community school students.
