I completely understand all the concepts in Algebra 1 and know how to teach these concepts to students. I have tutored Algebra 1 to students in both high school and college.
I have tutored high school students in Algebra 2. I understand how to effectively teach the concepts and push my students so that they fully grasp the material. With that said, I never rush my students into new material before they completely understand the previous material.
I have been playing chess since I was ten years old. I was in chess club throughout all my years of high school. I always encourage the kids that I work with, but also push them to their limit so that the greatest improvements can be made in their fitness.

I have played soccer since I was six years old. I played division one soccer for Penn State. Before coming to college, I worked numerous soccer camps for kids ranging from age five to age eighteen.
Throughout my time at Penn State, I performed one-on-one soccer training for three kids in high school. I improved their technical ability, and short and long range passing game by training them in the racquetball courts and out on the soccer field.
As a former division one soccer athlete at Penn State, I helped many of my teammates better manage their study skills so that they would not become overwhelmed with soccer and school. I used these experiences of working with my teammates to also help the study skills of the students I tutored throughout college. I showed my students how using better time management, picking the right location, and choosing the right time to study time played a huge part in how much each of my students benefited from studying. I not only helped my students learn when and where it was best for them to study, but also the certain way of studying, doing homework, or preparing for tests that would best benefit their study skills.
I have played tennis since I was ten years old. I played varsity tennis in high school. During high school, I worked with children in improving their ground strokes, volleying, and speed and placement of serving.
I always try to create a fun environment. I have seen that when the children have enjoyed the lessons I have given they not only get the most out of the lessons but also become more improved over time.
