In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I provide insightful and simple to follow one-on-one guidance to new and casual computer users who want to enhance their everyday computer use. My guidance includes easy maintenance tips that will help keep your computer working for you for a long time. I also inform learners about how to avoid scams and phishing schemes on the internet so that personal information stays safe. Easy, fun, and safe computing is what I aim to help you achieve.
My lesson plans cover all areas of film production from pre-production, production and post-production phases. Lesson plans are adjusted to cater a range of students from the beginner with no film work experience to the seasoned writer, director, camera operator, or film editor. Material I will introduce include fundamentals in screen writing, the art of story telling on the screen, understanding camera equipment, lens selection to an effect, lighting techniques, sound recording methods, and utilizing different non-linear editing software. I identify first what ability levels and access to equipment the student has and tailor the subjects introduced at that point. I also open up opportunities for students to experience being on a live set for an independent film, music video shoot, commercial shoot, or filming a live special event like concerts, weddings, and sports. I provide a well rounded experience from theory to real world hands-on learning.
