I am currently a French Teacher at La Petite Ecole, an English French Learning Academy in San Diego, accredited by the Education Nationale française.
I have been tutoring 5 year-old through to adults in san Diego for 1 year and a half.
I am familiar with School curriculum requirements for French from beginners to advance levels.
As a French native speaker I loves my language and its culture. I graduated as a certified Language Teacher, and my challenge and passion are to make it attractive for students to learn a new language according to their needs: grammar, conversation, writing, reading, listening...
To me, a language is first made to communicate. So depending on your ofjectives, if you can express yourself and be understood, there you are!
The best way reach your goal is to set some objectives. I will then teach you the grammar, vocabulary, phrases and the cultural context necessary to get there. I will offer you easy and interactive ways to help improve your skills.
From experience, I know learning a language can be challenging. This is why I am patient and understanding. And, don't worry about making some mistakes: we will turn them as assets to explain points and learn from them.
More importantly, I make sure that my students feel confident and understand that what they already know is always a steady base for improvement.
I have been tutoring French in Ireland to adults and children.
I have also taught in Schools in England preparing teenagers for their exams.
I taught English as a Second Language in France (Middle and High School) for the Ministry of Education. I have also been helping teenagers with their weekly homework.
I enjoy my relationship with every student and being able to help them brings me a lot of personal satisfaction.
