I am a full time science and math teacher at a one-to-one school. I teach according to each student's individual needs on a daily basis!
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Materials Science.
My philosophy with tutoring is simple: to PATIENTLY help the student use creativity in solving problems. I had to teach myself math beginning in high school since I was home-schooled. This forced me to be creative, and most importantly, PATIENT with myself while learning. These are the principles I have carried over into tutoring and it has been a very successful approach!
I have felt no greater satisfaction at a job than while tutoring a student one-on-one. When I am able to communicate my knowledge effectively and "see the light bulb turn on" in a student's mind, it is my greatest reward as a teacher.
