I am currently a medical student at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. I graduated from Pepperdine University in April 2011 with a 3.91 GPA and a B.A. in Psychology. I have worked as a tutor continuously for the past seven years. I was first employed by my high school and then during college, I worked for eight different families over four years. I have educated students of all ages, from nine year olds to college-level adults. I have also tutored in a variety of contexts, including both daily homework help for a student with a minor learning disability and also final exam preparation for an Advanced Placement student. As a tutor, I am proficient in mathematics up to Geometry, most sciences, English composition, and Psychology. I am most passionate about tutoring chemistry students because I have had six years of chemistry courses and I know a plethora of helpful ways to master the subject. In my experience, this course can be especially overwhelming and daunting, and I sincerely enjoy helping students build their confidence.
I provide high-quality tutoring services because I am passionate, organized, conscientious, reliable, encouraging, patient, and personable. I also have strong communication skills and excel in helping others reach their educational goals.
