I have been studying Japanese for only a year now, but I immediately fell in love with it and devoted most of my spare time to learning this wonderful language throughout the year. I spent two months in Japan, making connections in the country, and becoming increasingly comfortable expressing myself in Japanese, and understanding the world I was immersing myself in.
I am quick to admit that there is still so much more to learn, but I feel confident that I can help you bring your Japanese skills to the next level. In fact, I would love to teach you the language from the very beginning. I can show you the methods I used to bring myself to a high enough level of proficiency to speak with anyone I met in Japan in less than a year.
I also make my own materials, and I will share with you annotated Japanese texts, digital flashcard packs, and anything else that I feel will help you move forward and interest you in the language.
Once you feel comfortable enough, I look forward to having many interesting Japanese conversations during our sessions!
Please bring your textbook, and any worksheets, study guides, or tests that you want help understanding. I will go over them with you and show you how I would suggest studying for your class.
