Although my birth name is Rafael, I go by Ralph (English). In the past, I worked for the AT&T Telephone Company for 27 years, before then I worked for the Sweetwater Union High School District for almost 20 years. I am bilingual which has added to my success as a teacher in the San Diego community.

I attended Southwestern College, University of Redlands, UCSD, and USD, earning a AS, BS, and MA degrees. While teaching mostly high school subjects, I specialized in Math, Science, and the GED.

I have 4 children, all of them College graduates, including 3 which are practicing attorneys. This should tell you that I am and have always been very serious about education. I believe that education opens many doors and should not be taken for granted.

I taught GED in the Sweetwater Union High School District for about 15 years. Most of my teaching experience was spent at the San Ysidro and the Montgomery Adult Centers. These were some of my most rewarding years, because I believe I helped many students to begin their chosen careers.

ASVAB

I have tutored students and helped them to prepare for the GED, CAHSEE, CBEST, and ASVAB. All of these tests are very similar, and I believe if you can pass one, you can pass any of the tests.

How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
