My education at Loyola Marymount University and the University of Phoenix has helped me to develop a well-rounded knowledge base. I played baseball in college and have continued playing professionally, all while continuing to learn in order to put myself in a position for long-term success. I hope to pass along my knowledge and skills to students who are eager to learn.
My strong suits are math, English, writing, and advanced level business classes including finance, economics, accounting, statistics, and management. I am working on my master's in business administration with a concentration in accounting through the University of Phoenix. Currently, I am about a year and half through the two year program. I have been completing this program while traveling and playing professional baseball throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Through my experience, I will be able to provide guidance for students in time management and how to incorporate studying into their busy schedules.
I believe in challenging students with all they can handle and making learning fun by using the students' outside interests to help facilitate the learning process. I want students that I help to be successful and benefit in the long run.
Being a professional athlete, I have learned to adapt to performing in many different environments to excel in the classroom and on the field. I can relate to the time crunch faced by students who have extracurricular activities. I am also available to give private lessons in baseball, fitness, and nutrition; areas in which I have applied myself to learn more about in order to help myself in my career.
I am flexible with my time and can usually accept on short notice. I look forward to helping contribute to your success!
