Hello! I'm Kana, a Japanese native, and I'd be happy to help you learn Japanese. I have experience working with K-12 students and adults, and I truly enjoy teaching. I create my own teaching materials using comic books, newspaper articles, TV show clips & J-pop musics to help my students learn Japanese in a fun way.

I offer lessens in conversational Japanese (casual/business), writing, reading, and culture.

I have worked as a paraeducator for public elementary/middle school, and also as a translator for major airline.

I enjoy reading Japanese novels and comic books. My favorite Japanese character is "Franky" from One Piece.

How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
