As a recent UC Irvine graduate with a B.Sc in Neurobiology, I understand from firsthand experience how difficult science classes can be without a proper understanding of the concepts. I also know that with that understanding, science can be easier than you imagined (and fun!). Each student is different, which is why I cater to each student's weaknesses while emphasizing their strengths. By emphasizing a greater understanding of the subject over rote memorization, the student and I work together to succeed in the class. Why spend the time and agony learning the hard way when you could be learning the right way?
