I have a Clear Permanent CA State Teaching Credential for Chemistry, Geoscience, and Multiple Subject (Elementary) as well as a masters in Educational Administration from Concordia University and a CA Education Specialist Credential. My teaching experience spans public HS in LA and Orange County in chemistry, Geo-Science, Special Education as well as Material Science for science teachers of High School. I have been tutoring since my own HS days many years ago and that is what lead me to teaching as a career. Tutoring is still my favorite thing to do.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development and I understand kids. I look for the motivation in each individual child and work with the whole child to develop a high level of overall academic self esteem. My two children attended University High School and we live within a 5 minute walking distance with a 10 minute walk to UCI.

Biology

Science specialty with CA State credentials in chemistry, Earth science, and Wyzant certified in biology. Great with breaking down concepts to basics and building to complex concepts with ease.

Chemistry

As an experienced teacher of General Chemistry for high school, I understand the CA state standards for high school chemistry and have the ability to break down the difficult concepts to help students understand them. Students will be able to understand word problems and formulas and apply them in their labs, homework, tests, and life. Mastering chemistry and realizing how much fun it is opens many doors and possibilities.

Physical Science

I have a CA State Permanent Credential for teaching Physical Science in high schools as a highly qualified teacher. I am currently a Physical Science Teacher in Capistrano Unified School District.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a CA Clear Permanent Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD (Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development Certificate) and student teaching in first and fourth grade. I have experience teaching in PreK through 12th grade in all subjects, levels, and grades in self contained classrooms.

Study Skills

I can help students with study skills because I have a Permanent Clear Multiple Subject Credential as well as Chemistry and Earth Science with classroom experience in all of them. I have a masters in Educational Administration and have helped many students with their study skills. Mastering study skills is necessary for success in any subject.

Yoga

I am a certified 200 hour yoga teacher through Yogaworks and YogaFit with back care and level 1 teaching. I am almost finished with my scoliosis yoga therapy certification.

Praxis

I passed 3 Praxis exams; Multiple Subject, Single Subjects Chemistry and Earth Science. The later were CSETs and all are given by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
