ACT Math

Algebra 1
I am a retired Mathematician and Chemist. I have also been a substitute teacher in Mathematics in the Huntington Beach Union H.S. District
My approach to teaching is to (i) emphasize the fundamentals, (ii) develop student confidence by reviewing concepts already understood, (iii) train the student to think how to solve new problems based on prior knowledge, and (iv) offer students my advice from years of experience.

Biostatistics
My qualifications for tutoring in Biostatistics are as follows: PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry an a MS in Mathematics with a specialty in Statistics. I have given classes in Statistics to Engineers at Rohm & Haas.

I am a retired Mathematician. I have also been a substitute teacher in Mathematics in the Huntington Beach Union H.S. District. I have tutored high school students in Algebra, Calculus, Trig and Geometry, and college students in Linear Algebra and Advanced Calculus.
