To Be The Best, Learn from The Best! I am a California credentialed Master Teacher registered with American Mensa and Mensa International, the high I.Q. societies. I am published and noted in six different "Who's Who" books. I understand the struggling student because although I am a bona fide genius, I had to work extremely hard, change my study habits, and break through learning blocks, just like you do! I have 12 years experience tutoring students in various subjects and 15 years experience teaching drawing and painting, as well as arts, crafts, and needlework. During 2010-2011 I participated in a team science-art project displayed at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. I earned my BA in Humanities with Honors at Azusa Pacific University, and graduated with a 3.93 GPA, earning my Masters in Education at University of Phoenix. I have taught at private, charter, and public schools. I work with students from pre-school through college in most subjects. I have also taught both the math and language arts CAHSEE prep courses. I teach special education, GATE/Honors, S.E.S. and all other students, using standards based NCLB curriculum. I can teach traditional, classical, Montessori, and Free-schooling approaches. My students really achieve, winning Spelling Bees, Essay Contests, Science Fair Awards, and scholarships, even often after struggling to tears prior to their first meeting with me. Allow me to assist you with writing/editing/proofreading your papers, studying for exams, or help you to improve your grades, to pursue academic, professional or career goals, or for enjoying the personal fulfillment of learning a new skill, art, or craft. I tutor in your home, at my home, at the library, and the Internet online.
