Having been a public accountant, controller and investment manager, I have a thorough knowledge of mathematics. I will use this background to teach my students and encourage them to enjoy mathematics. My methodology is eclectic, and based on the needs of the student. Because of my background, I have a working knowledge of statistics used in a practical way: i.e. using a bell-shape curve to project probabilities of a future event. My major in undergraduate school was accounting/economics. I used this background to become an investment manager in a bank, where I was required to maintain a current knowledge of economic events occurring over my thirty-year career. I look forward to teaching and imparting the knowledge that I have accrued to my students.
