As an Art Educational Specialist, I strive for youth with all abilities to find their
own creativity through activities that challenge their imagination. I create a safe environment where children are encouraged to explore and experiment with media, engage in creative problem solving and learn to take creative risks.
In 2011, I completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from Antioch University focusing on Arts Advocacy. Currently I work as a fine arts teacher at a local Project Based school in Los Angeles, teaching K-8th grade; Art History, Cartooning, Maskmaking and Drawing & Painting. I strive everyday that children have access to the visual arts in their homes, schools and community. By giving rise to joyful exploration and discovery, through diverse forms of art and design, anything is possible.
