I am a semi-retired accountant and probate paralegal, having worked in both fields for more than 45 years. I have my Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with emphasis in accounting. I also have a law degree and a Master of Science degree in taxation.

I have trained and assisted business associates, friends and relatives of all ages with accounting, QuickBooks, Excel, Word, reading, grammar and math.

I believe I have been successful in helping others because I am able to use plain English, making it possible for most people to understand. I also find it fulfilling to help others to use these skills and enjoy them as much as I do.

Grammar

Correct grammar, punctuation and sentence structure show others, such as teachers and potential employers, that we have strong verbal communications skills. Many children have poor grammar because of text messaging and TV and radio ads that use terrible, incorrect grammar.

Microsoft Excel

I have used Excel for more than 15 years. I have worked as an accountant and bookkeeper in the private sector and for nonprofits and have worked as a probate paralegal for more than 45 years and have trained and assisted business associates in Excel.

I can help you create spreadsheets & database documents and templates, enter data, and create formulas and lookup tables.

Microsoft Word

I have used Word for more than 15 years. I have worked as an accountant and bookkeeper in the private sector and for nonprofits and have worked as a probate paralegal for more than 45 years and have trained and assisted business associates in Word.

Reading

I love to read and enjoy teaching others to read and enjoy it is as much as I do. I have a book, newspaper or magazine with me at all times.

Basic accounting and bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, estate and trust accounting.

QuickBooks

I have used QuickBooks for more than 15 years. I have worked as an accountant and bookkeeper in the private sector and for nonprofits and have trained and assisted business associates and friends in QuickBooks.
