I am a California credentialed English teacher who has been teaching English for six full years now at the high school and middle school levels. I have taught British, American, and World Literature classes, as well as I.B. and A.P. classes. For electives, I have taught creative writing, journalism, debate, and knowledge bowl. Apart from this, I am fully bilingual and have taught Spanish grammar, pronunciation, reading, and writing to both adults and children. Finally, I have taught SAT, PSAT, ACT, GRE, TEFL, SSAT, Praxis, ASVAB, literacy, ELL, and a variety of history courses, including American, European, and World history.
My education includes a Bachelor of Art degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in English, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Framingham State University. While at Santa Barbara, I made the Dean's List five times, while I graduated magna cum laude with a GPA of 3.87 from my graduate program. On the SAT, I scored in the 98th percentile on the reading section, and in the 99th percentile on the writing section. On the Praxis II English Literature and Composition exam, I scored a 193 out of 200, earning an ETS Letter of Recognition for Excellency.
