Hello, I have been in the field of education since 1987. My past job experiences include the following: elementary teacher grades k-5, middle school teacher grades 6-8, and reading specialist. After teaching in the classroom for 17 years, I began my career in adult and career education where I taught parenting classes to current and prospective parents. My other teaching responsibilities included working as an educator with the School Readiness Language Development Program. In addition, I worked with high school students who took Distance Learning classes in order to receive high school credit.
My tutoring methods always involve finding out areas that the student would like to focus on. I then come up with creative ways to help them meet their goals. I include a variety of modalities in the instruction.
