I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara. I scored in the 99 percentile on the MCAT, with a perfect 15/15 in the biological sciences sections and a 14/15 in the physical science section. I aim to minimize the memorization of facts, and instead focus on the mechanistic understanding of information. Accordingly, I focus less on what a system is doing and more on why a system is doing it. This style of logical thinking creates a more fun learning environment while giving my students more flexibility in applying their knowledge, translating into significantly higher test scores.
