Hi! My name is Maggie and I am a recent graduate of Case Western Reserve University. I received my Bachelors of Arts in the field of Anthropology and minored in Japanese and Women’s and Genders Studies. Primary and secondary education have always been a great passion of mine. I love working with kids and instilling in them a desire to learn. In the following year, I plan to work my way towards attending graduate school to get my Masters of Arts in Teaching, specifically in mathematics for secondary schooling. I have had some experience tutoring math and reading comprehension to first, second, and fourth graders, and have also spent a year doing practicum, working with preschoolers. I believe early education is extremely important in sculpting young minds to foster growth and facilitate academic success and achievement. It would be my honor and privilege to aid students in this effort.
If needed, I am bilingual in English and Mandarin, have an rudimentary knowledge of Japanese, and a basic understanding of Spanish.
I am very patient and understanding, and my hours are flexible! I look forward to working with you!
