My name is Sam B. I have been an actor, comedian, writer and voiceover artist for over 11 years. I have appeared on major television shows and movies, performed on stage in theatrical productions and major comedy clubs. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, am a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and received theatrical training at Margo Manning Studios. In addition, I have over 30 years of experience in telecommunications, during which I trained people at Fortune 100 companies in the use of highly technical products.

As someone who has conquered an accent (fluent Texan), I know how uncomfortable it can be if you have difficulty just explaining yourself in shopping, discussing problems, finding a job or just getting by in life. I can show you how to articulate, how to project your voice and how to be more comfortable reading and speaking the English language in every situation from public speaking to every-day conversation. I can even show you how to use humor to make an accent (or any other difficulty) work FOR you, instead of against you.

Reading

In an information age, reading well and reading fast is more important than ever. I can help you overcome difficulties in reading in a way that will make you want to read everything you can. Having read hundreds of books, I can show you how to make it fun.

Writing

Being able to write well enables you to make your abilities stand out to prospective employers. Having written comedy for over 12 years, I can show you a fun and exciting way to make people want to read what you write.

English

It is said the English language is the most difficult in the world to learn. As with many other languages, there are many "dialects" in English. The same words in English can mean different things, depending on what part of the world you're in. I can show you how to understand how different people speaking the same language can relate to each other and how to make youself understood by people who speak different dialects.

Public Speaking

I have performed in front of audiences in comedy and theatre for over and corporate training for over 11 years. I have a degree in Journalism and graduated from Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
