I have been a visual effects artist in the film industry for over 15 years. I've had over 20 years Adobe Photoshop experience. I've used Photoshop on the movies and tv shows I've worked on and am very proficient. I have taught adjunct classes at Pepperdine University in both Photoshop and Multimedia.
I am computer savvy on many software programs on the Mac. I am able to help with basic computer skills as well as being proficient with Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, iMovie, iDVD, QuickTime, iPhoto, iTunes, Preview, Bodypaint3d, GarageBand, Gimp, and other 3rd party software.
I have an extensive overall knowledge of operating system diagnostics and computer navigation on the Mac.

I also started sewing, knitting and crocheting at a very young age. I've successfully taught both children and adults these fun and rewarding skills and have been told I'm a great teacher. I try to make learning a very fun experience. I have a very outgoing personality with a funny sense of humor.
I also have taught cooking classes to children and adults and also teach jewelry making, sculpey (bake-able clay), and art classes.
I have a B.A. degree in Fine Art and Photography and have been blessed to be able to be a professional artist most of my adult life. I am now at a stage in life where I enjoy teaching others the skills I've learned.
I have traveled extensively in Europe and have a vast knowledge of art history, medieval Christian history, etc. I have many books on art and art history that can be used as teaching tools.
