Psychology & English Tutor with Master's Degrees

I am a published author. Thus, my command of the English language is quite strong. I work as a professor of Business Ethics, English Composition, Personal Development and Speech Communication. Previous to this position, I was a Professor of English at the College of InfoMedical Technology in Anaheim. Both positions also required effective proctoring of test and exams.

I enjoy working with students, and I clearly remember how much I benefited and gained educational stature as a result of having personal tutoring, both for my regular academic classes as well as for extracurricular activities. I charge a reasonable rate and I am quite confident of being able to do a good job tutoring in either psychology or English.

Reading

I can train you to read with purpose and intent. College coursework requires a lot of reading, and, with my assistance, I can show you how to pick out only the most important information, saving you time and energy.

Writing

As a published author of three books, I feel confident that I can tutor nearly any student in English. Furthermore, I can help with spelling and grammar, and also with composition style as well as formatting in either APA or MLA formats for college-level term papers. I can also work to help reduce a foreign accent. I really enjoy working with students and have successfully tutored many students in the past.

I have taught Speech Communication and English at two career colleges. I was also taught to be an ESL Instructor by the Peace Corps. Additionally, I am a published author of three books. My credentials include a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

GED

I took and passed the GED test some years ago, and I actually enjoyed studying for and taking the test. I would like to help any adult who is studying for the exam and help him or her to pass the test. All it takes is some good study habits and some self-discipline. I can show you how it is done. Study Skills

I have the ability to help students in elementary, high school, and college read with the purpose of selecting the most important passages in their reading material. In my tutoring, I demonstrate what I learned when I was pursuing my academic goals, which I achieved. This also involves the usage of time management. I was trained to be an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor with the Peace Corps. This allowed me to become thoroughly familiar with all of the requirements to be an effective ESL instructor.

Public Speaking
