It may seem strange to begin with a statistic, but I trust you will agree it's not wholly inappropriate. During the 2009-2010 school year, my 11 AP Chemistry students had a 100% pass rate with the following score distribution: Seven of them scored a 5, three scored a 4, and one scored a 3. The high scores are greater than three times the national average. What makes this even more impressive is that I only saw my students an average of 2.5 times per week (2 days one week, 3 days the next, alternating).

I was trained as a Classicist, a Chemist, and a Mathematician. I have enjoyed tremendous success as a teacher and tutor of Mathematics, Science and Languages, but what I am proudest of is the comfort and trust that I have managed to engender among my students.
