Elementary (K-6th)

I am a Princeton University graduate and credentialed teacher with a Master's Degree in Education. I have tutored as well as taught students in K-6th grade levels, helping them to develop skills to promote their reading fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension abilities. I have also helped with oral language growth, alphabet understanding, and written language development. Math-wise, I have taught students to use and compare integers, fractions, decimals, percents, and numbers with exponents. Students also have learned to master the order of operations. In science, students have come to know the characteristics of elements, compounds, and mixtures. Also that matter is composed of parts too small to be seen (i.e. protons, neutrons, electrons). Along the lines of history, students have learned the immigration and settlement patterns that have shaped the growth of the United States.
