My name is Donnel R., I'm 20 years old, and I'm currently attending at CSU-Dominguez Hills. I am a sophomore, and currently majoring in Biochemistry.
I graduated from Gardena High School (I can provide a high school transcript if needed), with 3.0+ GPA. I took many AP classes such as AP English Literature, AP English Language, AP US History, and AP Chemistry. I mostly excel in Chemistry. I also excel in Math, mainly in trigonometry. I have basic knowledge in the US History as well as English language, though not to the extent.
I have patience to take my time to teach the students, I do not like taking shortcuts, and I do not like to just answer the students' questions, because what is the point of tutoring when the student I'm teaching is not even learning? The essential part of being a tutor is to share knowledge, share techniques, and learn together, and with such enjoyment in appreciating education. I believe that education is the best way to be successful, I'm sure everybody agrees with me, and having a tutor is like a helping "bridge" in order to pass an obstacle.
I am willing to drive a few miles above my limit.
Aside from that, my goal is to graduate and be able to go into a medical school to become a doctor. However in order to do that, I will need to extend my knowledge in many things, especially in Biochemistry. I chose this major because I have an idea that I may be successful in the future.
