I am a high school math teacher with 15 years of classroom experience, teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Statistics. I also have extensive Test Prep experience, both as a separate class, and incorporating it into my daily lessons. I focus on comprehension, and feel that every student can be successful given the right kind of learning environment.
I also have experience with students with mild learning differences including ADHD and Asperger's syndrome, and can work with your child to learn organizational skills.
I prefer to tutor students in my home in Galt.
I am originally from New Zealand, am married with two beautiful daughters and I spend my time volunteering in their schools and as a Girl Scout Troop Leader.
