I'm fascinated by the intersection of economics, public policy, and healthcare. My recent research has focused on the impact of mental health on the job performance and health expenditures of U.S. Army soldiers, the growing use of economic analysis in drug prevention research, and the efficacy of Army behavioral health training centers.
My profession requires a strong background in math, statistics, and econometrics. I recently retook the GRE and achieved a 168 Quant and 170 Verbal, and will be attending UC Berkeley for Health Economics in the fall. In addition, I have excellent communication skills and can articulate the concepts underlying techniques and problems, as opposed to drill drill drill.
