Thank you for reading my profile! I am a high school senior. I tutored children at an elementary school in the spring of my sophomore year, and I also was a Reading Buddy at the library a couple of summers ago. Last summer, I was a computer tutor at the library.
I have taken AP Biology, AP European History, and AP US History and received A's in all the courses, as well as 5's on all the AP tests. I have also taken honors courses in algebra, chemistry, geometry, and pre-calculus. My best subject is history. I am very patient with kids and enjoy spreading the joy of learning. I would be a good fit for an elementary school student, or a junior high student. I can provide my own transportation.
I also can help students with SAT prep, as I recently took it myself and know the best ways to study, and what to focus on.
When I tutor children, I try to find the best way they learn. If they are visual learners, for example, I would use pictures and flashcards. I try to make it as interesting as possible for them.
