Hello there! I'm Reyna, a math major at CSUSB with a focus in education. I am passionate about teaching, and am proficient in Language Arts, Literature, Chemistry, Philosophy, Psychology, Communications and especially mathematics. I tutored for AB Miller High School in Fontana, CA and was an AVID tutor. I am patient with children and adults, I have amazing communication skills approach teaching/tutoring in a more social and appreciative approach.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1 is basic computational skills and is the stepping stone for Mathematics. Arithmetic in further math such as calculus is derived from Algebra. I am pleased to say that I specialize in Algebra and Analysis and go about teaching the subject in a simple and patient manner.

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 is perhaps the most crucial capstone in arithmetic. Upper division math courses are based on understanding of theorems and applications. I am very knowledgeable with computational skills and comprehension. Being a math major, I have reviewed the new California Common Core State Standards, and understand that algebra 2 is vital to a students education. And I am more than capable of helping a student learn and enhance their understanding in algebra.

Elementary Math

I specialize in Algebra and analysis. For Elementary math I understand and know how to apply computational skills for simple and complex mathematics (such as word problems). Elementary is where a child's knowledge in English and Mathematics form, and I would love to help be a part!
