I hold B.S. in ME and Master in business with 3-year experience of secondary teaching. My goal in teaching or tutoring mathematics is to ensure the deep understanding and process of the students in various topics, such as elementary arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, set theory, and mathematical analysis. I also teach Mandarin through a interactive and fun learning approach
Possessing a single subject teaching credential and special education credential, I also have experience in teaching mathematics in high schools and middle schools. I focus on California state content standards as well as teaching methods that are being used by schools.
I am also able to answer any inquires for test preparation. For summer, I also privately teach students to prepare for their upcoming year's math curriculum. With private teaching, I provide reference materials including handouts, practices, and videos from textbook publishers such as Prentice Hall, Glencoe/Mc-Graw Hill, etc.
