Hi Folks! I am Jeff and love Statistics and Algebra and can teach it successfully to anyone.
I have experience teaching Statistics at the university level including San Diego State, Cal State San Marcos, and National University. I started teaching Statistics as a Graduate Assistant and was selected as a Lecturer. I've taught entry level students to graduate students and have exemplary student evaluations. My approach is to make it fun and to have a few laughs doing it! I use the same approach with Algebra- if it is not boring, then it is easier to learn. I've taught Algebra online with the University of Phoenix.
If you would like to know more about descriptive statistics (how to classify and graph data, means, variances), statistical tests such as T and Z tests, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), Chi Square, Regression, and distributions, I can help you! I can teach the theory behind the test and show how to use software such as Excel and SPSS to do it too. I am patient and understanding with Algebra students and adjust my pace to the student's level.
Parents- I am wonderful with kids, held a secret security clearance and also coach girls softball. I can teach that too if needed!
Thank you very much for considering me! Hi Folks! I am Jeff and love Statistics and Algebra and can teach it successfully to anyone.

Will consider multiple students from a class at reduced rates for each.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've taught beginning Algebra online with the University of Phoenix and received wonderful student evaluations. I have 20 years experience teaching Statistics which heavily relies on Algebra. I use it in my everyday job as a data analyst and know it cold!
I am an ASA certified coach. I was a Gold level 14U All-star coach 2014 season with Scripps Ranch softball Association, Head Fall ball coach 2013, and have had Six recreation level coaching jobs from 8U, 10U, and 12U levels.
I've used SPSS as the example statistical software in the university classes I taught. I use it every single day at work, merging databases, running cross tabs and doing statistical tests. I will even use it this Fall to help explain some research results for a presentation at professional conference. I even know the vendors too!
Teaching Statistics has been a joy for me ever since learning from a great SDSU professor who served as my mentor when I was his Graduate Assistant. I've taught it for 20 plus years and consistently have top student evaluations. I've instructed undergraduate and graduate students at National University, SDSU, and Cal State San Marcos. My passion shows in my upbeat and appropriately humorous style!
